About Flavia Schroeder
A native Argentinean, Flavia earned her master’s degree in Spanish, Latin and Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, and was revalidated at the University of Houston;she boasts over 20-years teaching experience at prestigious learning centers such as Awty International, U of H, Rice, HCC, and several corporations including Shell, Marathon Oil, ConocoPhillips, ChevronTexaco, Halliburton, Schlumberger, just to name a few. About 14 years ago, she founded FS Language Services, Inc. and prides herself in staying involved with every aspect of her flourishing business, including training her instructors to implement her own teaching method.

Flavia is passionate about helping businesses and their representatives understand how imperative it is for them to not only learn the language of their target audience, but embrace their culture. Parents should also be taught the importance and benefits of helping their children become bilingual at a young age; and, finally, dispelling the fallacy that an adult’s brain cannot learn another language.

FS Language Services, a language translation services firm, was officially established in 1998. However, Ms. Schroeder has been teaching customized language classes and crosscultural seminars for over 20 years in the United States, Latin America and the Middle East. Highly educated, earning her master’s degree in Spanish, Latin and Literature from the University of Buenos Aires and revalidated at the University of Houston, Flavia is passionate about helping businesses and their representatives understand that it is imperative for them to, not only learn the language of their target audience, but to also embrace their culture. Custom-fi t is the fi rm’s trademark recognizing that every individual learns at his/her own pace. They have also created their own methodology – “Speak Now; Habla Ya™” as well as developed their own teaching materials.
