- Your flow of speech will be relatively effortless and natural. You will be able to follow 70% of most conversations, including common idiomatic expressions.
- You should have the confidence to join in social discussions. Your errors in grammar or vocabulary will be rare, and will not disturb the native speaker.
- You will be able to discuss particular interests and technical/business topics within your own field with relative ease. You will also be able to handle routine difficulties such as participating actively in meetings, presenting business proposals, making technical presentations, etc.
- You should be able to read standard newspaper items, reports and other materials related to specific areas of interest, at home or at work. You will understand most of the country's TV.
- Your cultural awareness will be refined in both social and business areas, so that positive relationships may be established and maintained.
- Field trips will be available to all students in order to facilitate extra practice and exposure to the particular country's world.
- You will be able to write business letters and some reports.
- You will be exposed to the native literature (particularly poetry, songs and short stories), if this is a topic that interests you.
